Fast and Fiery BLT

It’s the BLT with a kick — DI LUSSO® Smoked Turkey, Bacon and Pepper Jack Cheese. Topped off with a fiery 3-chile mayo, between slices of wheat sourdough.

Ingredients:

  • 12 slices bacon
  • 8 slices wheat sourdough bread, toasted
  • 4 pieces iceberg lettuce, cut into 4" squares
  • 4 slices tomato, thickly sliced
  • 1 1/3 cups mayonnaise
  • 3 tablespoons cilantro
  • 1 tablespoon chipotle chiles, finely chopped
  • 1 teaspoon garlic , minced
  • 1 teaspoon jalapeño , seeded and chopped
  • 1 teaspoon lime juice
  • 4 slices DI LUSSO® Colby Jack Cheese Shredded
  • 9 ounces DI LUSSO® Deli Meats and Cheese, turkey

Procedure:

  1. Cook bacon until crisp, drain. Cut each slice in half.
  2. Prepare 3-Chile Mayonnaise by combining mayonnaise, cilantro, chipotle chilies, garlic, jalapeno and lime juice. Mix well, then reserve and chill.
  3. Spread 1 tablespoon of 3-Chile Mayonnaise on each slice of toast.
  4. Divide bacon, turkey, cheese, lettuce and tomato among 4 slices of toasted bread.
  5. Top each stack with remaining toast, mayonnaise side down.
  6. Place sandwich picks in two opposite corners of the sandwich, then cut diagonnally in half.
